Our Story

Our Beginning
My name is Rae.  My fiance Tim and I have a pretty extraordinary story. Almost 3 years ago, Tim fell 25 feet off of a building and has lost the use of his left arm.  He also has an elevated diaphragm which makes breathing hard for him.  On top of that he has a brain injury which impacts his memory and several other areas of his/our life. Exactly 5 months to the day after his fall I had a stroke; a hemorrhage in the right side of my brain that paralyzed my left side. It's been a long recovery.  I'm doing pretty good but I still don't have the use of my left arm completely. So we are a right-handed couple. We have learned how precious life is and what really matters. We have a small farm that we are working on. It's a lot of work, so we take it a little at a time.

Our Family
You've already learned a little about our family through our beginning. However, our family may have started with two people, but it has grown in love and numbers over the years. Rae and Tim started this journey with their boys Skylar, Ryan, Collin, Lucas and Wyatt. Together this family quickly added new members and are still adding more. Their beloved animals are:
Dogs - Mojo, Bear, Daisy, Murphy, Timmy, Lola
Rabbits - Numerous ones over the years but currently Fluffy
Turkey - Pumpkin, Sugar
Chickens - Sylvia
Pigs - Stella, Tyson (pot belly), Zoomy, Squirt(mini)
Goats - Jar Jar Binks, Paxton, Lily
Horses - Tullulah, Indy, Summer, Athena, Prince, Spirit, Kenzie
Donkey - Pedro
Mini Cows - Sampson, Mable, Moose

Our Future
Tullulah Farms is a safe haven for animals and people alike. Our plan and our mission is to have a place for children who are struggling to come visit with our animals and learn a little along the way. It's a place to bring the elderly to give love and get some in return. It's part therapy and part love. We believe it's so good for your soul. We don't have the best of everything we are a work in progress but what we do have is love and patience. We will keep you posted on our progress and when we will be ready for visitors. Once we open we have big dreams for this little farm. We hope you will join us on this journey of love, life, rescue, and therapy.
